Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Risen Star Collective, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

A Faith-Centered Purpose

Risen Star Collective exists to help people engage with Scripture, share reflections, ask sincere questions, and grow in community. Respectful, gracious discussion is expected. The platform is not a substitute for a local faith community, pastoral care, professional care, or emergency help.

Accounts

• Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
• Keep your login credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
• Do not impersonate another person, organization, ministry, or official Risen Star account.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you have reported unauthorized use.
• We may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that violate these Terms or create safety, security, or legal risks.

Your Content

You are responsible for content you post, share, send, or upload and should only share content you have the right to use. You keep ownership of your original content.

By posting or sharing content through Risen Star Collective, you give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform and make the content available according to your chosen audience.

Private notes and personal study data remain private unless you intentionally share or publish them. Publishing a note as a post makes the published copy subject to these Terms and the Community & Moderation Policy.

Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, threats, bullying, hate, dehumanizing abuse, or targeted intimidation.
• Sexual exploitation, predatory behavior, or inappropriate sexual content.
• Spam, scams, fraud, deceptive fundraising, or unauthorized commercial promotion.
• Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity or authority.
• Sharing another person's private information without permission.
• Illegal activity, malicious software, hacking, unauthorized access, or attempts to disrupt the platform.
• Using the platform, Scripture, or AI-assisted tools to shame, threaten, manipulate, exploit, or harm others.
• Content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or violence, or deliberately interferes with someone seeking safety.

Community Standards

Our Community & Moderation Policy explains what is welcome, how reporting and blocking work, and what moderation actions may be taken. Faith and theological disagreements are permitted when they remain respectful and do not become personal attacks, harassment, or manipulation.

AI-Assisted Features

AI is used here as a study aid to help point you back to Scripture. Scripture remains the authority. This is not a replacement for the Bible, prayer, pastoral care, wise counsel, or professional help.

AI-assisted explanations and recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify them against Scripture, context, and wise counsel before relying on or sharing them.

AI outputs are not professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or pastoral advice. You remain responsible for content you choose to publish after using an AI-assisted feature.

Crisis and Emergency Limits

Risen Star Collective is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, may hurt yourself, or are being harmed, contact local emergency services, crisis support, or a trusted person immediately. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support and call 911 for immediate danger.

Donations, Subscriptions, and Merchandise

Payments may be processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. Donation, subscription, merchandise, preorder, shipping, cancellation, and fulfillment details shown during checkout form part of the transaction.

Subscriptions can be managed or canceled through the available billing tools. Merchandise and preorder fulfillment timelines may change, and material updates will be communicated when reasonably possible. Any applicable refund or fulfillment terms presented at checkout also apply.

Account and Content Actions

You may delete your account or request data deletion through available account controls. We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when reasonably needed for safety, repeated policy violations, abuse prevention, security, legal compliance, or protection of users and the platform.

Where appropriate, we may use a warning or narrower restriction before suspension or termination. Serious or urgent conduct may require immediate action.

Service Disclaimers

Risen Star Collective is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We work to provide a stable, thoughtful service, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, complete data preservation, or perfect AI output.

The platform is not professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, pastoral care, or emergency support. Scripture text, translations, copyrights, and licensing restrictions must be respected.

Limits of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Risen Star Collective is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or unexpected losses arising from use of or inability to use the platform, user content, third-party services, or reliance on AI-assisted output. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You are responsible for evaluating interactions, content, links, and advice shared by other users and for seeking qualified help when a situation requires it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform, law, or safety practices evolve. The Last updated date will show when this version changed. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply from their effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or account email when appropriate.
